Michelle is a specialist Year 11 and 12 teacher who has been teaching for 18 years in both public and private colleges in Hobart, Tasmania. Presently she is working at Guilford Young College, a Catholic Senior Secondary College located in Glenorchy. Her subjects are based in the Humanities area and she has a passion for Psychology and English. Michelle has also been a Learning Area Co-ordinator and has given a series of lectures in Renaissance Drama at the University of Tasmania. In 2006 she was awarded a Tasmanian Quality Teaching Award. She has a background in drama, music and performance and experience with both onstage and backstage during the last twenty years. Michelle has a special interest in teaching language and study skills, plus having completed many PD sessions she appreciates the value of practical ideas that can be taken back to the classroom to try out.
