Anita McAdam has 27 years experience in both the commercial and educational sectors of the fashion industry in Australia and the United Kingdom. Design consultancy experience in London, Manchester and Sydney covers diverse product areas in both men?s and women?s wear, tailored garments, leather jackets, sports casuals, knitwear and accessories. As a senior lecturer at the Manchester Metropolitan University, Anita enjoyed teaching the practice and theory of design, product development and all technological aspects of garment production. Anita is currently operating as an independent consultant involved in the product development process with the local fashion industry, course development in fashion education and the training of fashion students in the private and state sector.
