Vicki is a ceramic and mosaic artist and art educator with over twenty five years teaching experience. Qualified with a Diploma in Art (Education) from the Alexander Mackie C.A.E. where she majored in sculpture, Vicki went on to be a high school art teacher, from 1978 -88. Since 1989, Vicki has exhibited her work regularly at The Inner City Clayworkers Gallery Co-operative, at Glebe in Sydney, where she was a member for 14 years, 1989- 2002. Since 1988, Vicki has run her own ceramic studio and given workshops with a strong creative focus, in ceramics, mosaics, fabric dyeing and collage. Vicki exhibits her work regularly and has been successful at selling her work through various galleries around Australia. Her ceramic brooches, handbuilt ceramics and mosaics are in many collections, both in Australia and overseas. Vicki was appointed Editor of The Journal of Australian Ceramics in Dec 2005.
